Although I didnt lose my daughter in pregnancy, (I lost her at 5 days old in Dec) its still so hard TTC. I had a text book pregnancy but I still worry that if I am lucky enough to fall pregnant again, something will either go wrong in pregnancy or after birth. I have 2 l/c and constantly think that they have died if they over sleep etc I dread to imagine what I will be like with a new baby

She died from Meningococcal Septicaemia. 1 in 10 of us carry the Meningitis in the back of our throats and noses, and its usually harmless. But in some people- as it did Eve, it overwhelmed her body and caused blood poisoning. Its 4 x more deadly than meningitis and once you get it, its very unlikely you will surive, especially in such a little baby. She had a full check by the m/w that morn, she hadnt even lost ne of her birth weight, was feeding well etc. Put her to bed at 11pm and woke up at 3am and she had gone itwas so sudden and unexpected. Even after she had died she looked perfect, no rash....nothing. She was only with us 5 days but she has changed our lives forever. Were so proud of her
