So i have been on clomid for the first time this cycle. I was on 50mg and the doc was monitering me to see how well i handled it. I had an ultrasound yesturday on cd14 it was supposed to be on cd13 but that was a sunday. so they finally called me with the results today... I have over 30 follicles on each overy all measuring under 10mm. my obgyn said that my pcos was severe and that she couldnt treat me any further because the risk of hyperstimulation was to great. so i am being refered to a fertility specialist. I was devistated as i thought that clomid would solve everything.

I am going to make another thread about our options.

well anyways we went to my parents for dinner and when we returned my husband got a subpeona, he is being sued for $18000 in medical debt from a car accident before we met. this would have been paid but the hospital wouldnt cooperate with the insurance company so it went to collections and now they are suing us.

I was going to get about $5000 back from student loans in september that we were going to use for treatments, this now has to go towards paying for this crap and probably an attorney.

i just cant believe everything that has happened today.

I am so sorry hun. :hugs: Clomid didn't work for me either (I O'd late, and it thinned my lining too much). My RE switched me to Femara, which worked much better. If I remember correctly, Femara doesn't have as great a risk for hyperstimulation (not completely sure though, so if someone else knows for sure please correct me).

I was served papers a couple years ago by a collection agency for a much smaller amount, and I was terrified. I can't imagine how you must be feeling. Maybe you can find a free legal service that may help you with how to proceed and offer to help you with the case before you hire an attorney. Big big :hugs:
