Good luck char what's everybody up to today? We're going shoooooppppinnng and it's shopping for me for a change. It was our first night in reusable nappies last night and we had no leaks! Went better than I thought it would

We're going shopping too, I'm nearly hyperventilating at the thought of lovely new, non maternity clothes

D is getting so big now he won't get much longer out of his pramette (have a Silver Cross 3d travel system) and I'm worrying already about what to do when he just doesn't fir there anymore. He still seems too small for the pushchair part and I like seeing him when we're walking. Anyone any advice or ideas? or will I just have to go and buy something new?

The seat unit on the silver cross doesn't parent face does it? The carrycot on the m+p ultima is mahoosive - bigger than a moses basket, I loved it! But the seat unit is also suitable from birth and everything can be parent or forward facing. It's a bit pricey though unless you can get a bargain in the sale.

Yeah it was nice but don't think I'll be going back anytime soon lol. LO was so difficult because she got really clingy and cried if I left the room or if she left the room and I wasn't there so I had to take her everywhere, couldn't even go to the toilet without her. Our bedroom was a tiny box room with no window so we were both boiling and LO ended up in with me in a little single and she's a bed hogger .
We did have a couple of nice days out though, we went to a castle which had all activities going on and to a zoo which had a big adventure play area and LO LOVED playing with the other toddlers in the family. We went swimming as well and LO is a complete water baby lol.
So overall I'm glad we went but it was just too hard on my own as LO wouldn't go to anyone else. The trains were a nightmare as well lol.
I need a holiday now to get over the holiday

sounds like a nightmare lol..glad you enjoyed the days out though. I really want to take alfie to the zoo soon. I know what you mean by bed hogger alfies in with me most nights and he squashes me hes so fidgety aswell his arms fling everywere in the night lol.

Did I mention my cousin had gastroenteritis as well
LO didn't really get to see the animals because I was so tired I kept her in the pushchair until the afternoon when I started to feel a bit better
She's terrible in the bed, I try and get away from her because she's so hot and she just moves closer so I end up nearly falling out (of a very high bed).

I'm here! Just finished dinner. We had our cavity wall insulation done today and I was hoping to pop to Costco after but by the time they went it was time for Fran to have a nap - took me 2hrs 15 mins to get her to sleep! - and then I just couldn't be bothered lol.

I'm quite happy with that result if I'm honest, I was expecting D's & E's I missed quite a bit of school in jan/feb so

Fran and I popped into town this morning to get nappies and formula. I ended up buying her a new sleeping bag and then there were some new clothes in the asda sale and couldn't resist getting her 3 cute outfits!!!

We've been to group this afternoon and I'm just chilling while she has a nap - first time I've been online all day.
