hellloooooo

I am knackered, we had Danny's christening today and all the cleaning, cooking and entertaining has me exhausted. All went well until a nappy explosion right in the middle of it  sod's law meant that I didn't have a change of clothes and had to use muslim feeding clothes as a makeshift sarong for under his outfit - complete nightmare

Little Char - look again love - the christening was yesterday lol!

Aww glad it went well apart from the nappy explosion, bet there were a few giggles lol.
You will have to put some pics on fb :)

It was only family there so 20 of us but we all heard the nappy sound effect :haha:

he burped right at the end and it seemed to echo and echo and echo, vay funny

Danny is being so hard to feed atm, he used to polish off 5 7oz bottles a day and now it's a fight to get him to take 2-3oz

He's on the medium Nuk teat and he seems to be able to get the milk out ok, he's just not fussed on drinking it :dohh:

Aw lou did you enjoy the christening. I bet D looked gorgeous.

anna lovely new avatar pic :cloud9:

Lou do you think it might be the weather affecting his milk intake. I know with alfie his milk intake declines alot when its warm weather for some reason so does my friends LO.

Aw Char we had a great time, he looked gorgeous but a bit annoyed at having to wear a girly gown for a wee while :haha:

I hadn't even thought about the weather, would be great if it's something that will pass soon, he's always been really easy to feed and the last few days have been hard going. When I stop to wind him it's like he loses interest in the bottle and can't be bothered taking it again

:hugs: I dont miss winding :dohh: it was always such hard work with alfie to just bring one farty little burp up. I hope when the weather passes he goes back to normal for you hun. Its like they get put off drinking because its so hot as weird as it sounds  You could try to pop a bottle in the fridge for 5-10 minutes to cool it down and see if that makes a difference. For the wind issues we used to use colief it is expensive but you only need a few drops but it did make him fart alot lol.

ALFIE TOOK HIS FIRST STEPS THIS MORNING!!!!! :happydance: I am such a proud mummy he walked 4 steps and then this afternoon he walked another three, hes getting such a big boy

Can alfie have a word with Daphne? She's making no attempts at being mobile in the slightest. I'm sure she'll be my age just sitting on a playmat and shouting at me to get whatever it is she wants!

Well done to alfie though, what a clever boy!

 aw bless her, shell get there hun, alfie only started rolling after crawling i think her was about 8 months before he learned to roll yet my friends baby learned to roll at 5 months its crazy how they all learn different isnt it.

She can roll, I've caught her doing it plenty of times before, she's just too lazy. She has great arm strength but she refuses to push up to crawl. If something is out of her reach which she wants, she gives up after a pathetic attempt at trying to reach it and plays with her feet. I think I have a lazy baba, just like her daddy :haha:

 I don't blame her. Why bother do it herself when she knows mummy and daddy can do it for her

Oops forgot to say Well done Alfie :) He will be properly walking around in no time, then it gets fun

I'm babysitting again today and the little boy bit Ella :grr: Poor Ella screamed for ages :(
