Hi everyone

Thanks for the advice and I have decided to buy the Jane Slalom Reverse which comes out end of Feb time. It has everything I want including a carrycot which can be fitted to a car as I don't want to use a car seat for the first couple of months.

Its a bit pricey but I plan on it lasting the few years as I have heard they are well built and sturdy.

The local baby shop calls this brand their bread and butter thay sell that many of them!

I just have to decide on the colour now!!!

:o)

Good choice !! - I love the Jane slalom pro and was pretty sure that 's the one we were getting. So glad I seen this because the only thing, possibly putting me of the slalom pro previuosly was the fact that the pushchair didn't reverse to face mum /dad -and now it has everything lol :happydance:

Not so keen on the colour choice though -loved the bohemian, and the utopia colours from last year, but hey ho cant have everything.

Only thing is - the advertisement's I have seen for the new slalom reverse state weighs 16kg -original slalom pro only weighs about 9kg -can this be right?? Does the newer version weigh so much more?
If you know please let me know?

xx

I also have the Britax vigour 3. It's fab and you won't get punctures with it.

Ok bit of a curve ball this but - we're looking at the 'baby jogger' city mini. Its got amazing reviews on mumsnet - their no.1 three-wheeler and scored 9.5 out of 10. you can get different ones with big pneumatic wheels if you like, or 8 inch 'normal' ones if you don't fancy them. Its only 6kg, can lie flat, and you can fit carrycot/car seat on top if you like. Its fab if you have to get the bus a lot like me, as (apart from how light it is) its so easy to fold up! you just take hold of the handle in the seat (literally where baby's bum is normally), and lift - the whole buggy sort of folds up, to a really compact shape. i've had a really good look and can't find anything else as good as this one!

We're getting it from CK buggies (warehouse-type place near us) for £300 including raincover, carry cot, car seat, and car seat base which i think is ace! the only thing i don't get - apparently its best selling 3 wheeler in UK, but doesn't seem to be on sale anywhere other than this one place! wierd.

I'm going for the Jane Slalom Pro or Reverse it just looks great. I've had numerous pushchairs with my other two and much prefer the 3 wheelers to 4 wheelers. OH is set on the Apple i-candy but since its me that will be using it the most he doesnt get a choice :haha:.
