Hey everyone my husband has a problem with his right lobe in his thyroid and it needs removing. My question is has anyones partner had a thyroid issue and that been the problem in not conceiving? No one seems to know. Weve been ttc for quite a while and my tests showed me being ok so im hoping after his surgery we can finally conceive

Hi wantingbubba I believe males with thyroid problems can have poor sperm quality due to an imbalace of hormones, so I'd mention to his dr that you are having difficulties conceiving and hopefully he can help and you'll have your bfp very soon

Has your husband ever done semen analysis?

Thanks for the feed back ... no he hasnt had a semen analysis as yet his dr wants to wait till after the operation ! We both think this is the reason we cant conceive so we r going to go great guns after the op and see how things go. If no bfp we're going to use our referral to a fertility specialist. Fingers crossed we dont need to
