Thyroid pregnancy complications? Anyone? Underactive

Hi there,

I am 23 weeks pregnant with severe hypothyroid (underactive)

Was told by the consultant last week that if in 5 weeks my levels haven't dropped or became stable they will send me for an ultrasound, to the day assess unit and then decide the next steps..

Has anyone had or does anyone know of anyone that has had a troubled pregnancy due to thyroid complications ?
And if so what were they..

I'd be grateful for all the help & advise xxx

Hello there! I have only recently been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and have just found out I'm pregnant with #3 and only 4.5 weeks. Before diagnosed my tsh was 26 and last week it was 0.56 which the Dr was happy with and increased my meds. We had unexplained fertility for 2 years and had treatment to concieve #2 I think it was related to my thyroid but at the time subclinical. I see your 23 weeks but your levels are all over. Your at least past half way and still going strong. What have the endos said???
