Tiffany rings?

My OH wants to get me a tiffany wedding band because on our first date he was giving me all this patter that he was going to buy me a tiffany ring and thinks its a cute story to tell the grandkids.

However I have seen a beautiful diamond wedding band (small diamond) which is £300 cheaper than the plain wedding band thats in tiffanys and I am just wondering if a cute story and a stamp that says tiffany and co is worth an extra £300. I am notoriously a tight wad haha and just wondered if I am in the wrong here, what are other peoples view on this?

Dont get me wrong he will get me whichever ring makes me happiest but he just wants to be romantic.

Personally, the story and the nostalgia means more than the price tag. Whether the ring costs £10 or £10,000 is irrelevant

Aww I think the story is lovely! I personally don't think £300 difference is that much for such a beautiful story to tell
