So I've been going to Dr's my entire life, finally went to a new AMAZING fertility Dr and he said I have a tiler uterus. No one has noticed it before?! The kind of funny thing is that everyone has been telling me to put my legs up, he actually said the opposite! That I need to lay on my stomach lol!!!

My uterus also lies backwards however when i asked my doc originally if this could be why it took me 19 months to get my first bfp he said it shouldn't stop you getting pg. Having looked it up on the internet there seems to be specialists who think it may take couples longer to conceive. So i am wondering if my tilted uterus could be the problem. I get painful periods especially in my back and get constipation in the tww. Also read that they suggest bding doggy or from behind lying on your stomach. Definitely going try staying on my stomach afterwards it will be interesting to know if i get pg quicker, its been 8 months ttc since my mc. Only wish i knew all this over 2 years ago when we started ttc!

They have told me that mine tilts back and forth. Maybe yours was tilted correctly when other doctors looked at it:)

I have a retroverted uterus. I was told that it really doesn't matter too much... the sperm will find there way. However, I have done research and seen that some say it matters.

I have one too. Conceived 3 times in two months odd trying so for me it has not been an issue

I have a tilted uterus! My doctor said it shouldn't cause any problems for me, it was all the fibroids in there that caused the problem. My mom has a tilted uterus and she had no problem having kids. Our bodies can be so weird!

I have a retroverted uterus..no baby #2 over 6 years now :-(

Mines tilted. Took us so long to conceive because of husbands problems. I didn't even know about it til I had my early scan.

I just came from my first appointment with fertility specialist yesterday. Found out I have retroverted (tilted) uterus. He explained that does not effect conception. He stated that the sperm will be able to find its way regardless of what sex position you do. Hope this answer your questions.
