Exciting my LO has just turned 1 (I am 33) and wondering how long to wait to TTC / NTNP. DH said the other day he would like another 1 or 2. It took over 7 years to conceive our LO - he was a big surprise after so long. My cycles since have been more regular so hope this time it wouldn't take as long. I scares me to TTC as I was so anxious during my last pregnancy, I would hope to enjoy the next one.
we found out we were expecting no.2 yesterday was a complete surprise due august also so could be same month as DD -terrified yet excited we were planning on waiting a few more months before starting to ttc but this one slipped through
wow congrats to all you toddler mammas newly expecting!
I would love to jump on board but DH isnt so keen We are 'wtt' until June (want at least a 3 year gap) Ill just skip over the fact af was due yesterday and we had a CD14 accident
oOoo this post makes me broody lol ! I want to be pregnant again! Although I would like a 3 or 4 year age gap so I am going to be sensible . Good luck to everyone trying xxx
JC - Jealous! We've been thinking about #3 but on the fence.... a small chance we'll be bump buddies for a third time though! Now if I can just get AF back...
Lellow - Congrats! We have all November birthdays here! I was actually guessing that if we start NTNP, it is perfect timing for yet another November birthday
We're NTNP our second one, we've been doing it for about 3 months now, fingers crossed its soon, Callum will be over 3 now when I do get pregnant, think that'll be a nice gap between them xx
Omg I'm so jealous ladies! In a nice way of course I sooooo want to have another baby. We've more or less decided two is it for us. That feels so wrong though.
Good luck Em, I'll be stalking. And congrats to the ladies that have gotten their BFP's
Hey everyone! We've just kind of falling into NTNP this month - last weekend in fact. Basically ran out of condoms and decided not to bother buying any more! Just so happened to be when I should have been ovulating (according to an app I use to monitor periods). Don't particularly feel like it will happen for us first time (unlike last time NTNP) but we're happy to just see what happens and have fun! It's a bit scary thinking of having a toddler and a baby but I am sure we'll manage!
We started NTNP when the age gap would have been the same between the first two (18 months). However, it didn't work and I got impatient and I had extra pressure from DH who decided that he didn't want to be a new dad after he turned 40, so we actively TTC.
Dug out my thermometer and wham: preggo month 1 of being obsessive compulsive about TTC! (Should have tried earlier!- baby will be here 3 months after his 40th!)
Aimee-Lou congrats on no 3! Eddjanuary, not even sure if I am ready but thought it's now or never otherwise Ill never do it. NTNP feels a little easier for me at the mo. Just come off pill anyway so cant track cycles or anything and last time I had no period at all for four months but just fell pregnant!
Many congrats Wellington. My OH is 44 and has been v dubious but ended up pushing me to start again for no 2. x
