Going back for the 3rd after a 6yr gap! had a 3yr gap between eldest 2 so its going to be a little different and I’ve been out of the baby days for so long! I’m hoping it will all come flooding back!

So any tips for a new baby, especially after a gap? Things that help make things easier.
There’s a few new things out now like next to me cribs and sleepy heads etc I just had a Moses basket with the others and carried it up and downstairs. I’m struggling to remember what we did for daytime naps after they outgrew the Moses basket tho! Think it was a mixture of the baby chair (lays flat, fisher price rainforest infant tomtoddler rocker) or laying on the floor or when out and about in pram.

My older 2 entertain themselves for the most part so I’m hoping it will be easier in that respect, not having to entertain a preschooler. But half terms we will get out and about which may be challenging as the baby becomes a toddler! But we will cross that bridge when we get to it!

I had my third in October there after a 6.5 year gap. It's amazing how they just fit in to your day to day life, although I believe this will be very different when the toddling stage comes around!

I guess the only difficult thing we have found is trying to still do what we have with our older two, like cinema bowling rock climbing etc. Can't do these things now unless we have a baby sitter or one of us stay at home. But we have made a point to continue what they are used to because we don't want them to resent their little sister. It's wonderful to see how my eldest two have taken to her though, they show her so much love and attention and even at 7.5 months old now they haven't gotten bored, yet haha

Good luck when the baby comes!!
