I've started the 5:2 diet and combining with the gi diet on non fast days (I'm not dipping much below 2000 calories on non fast days but I'm using the GI principle to fill me up or save me some calories for wine ). I'm already losing and feeling so much better.
But I'm worrying about not really being able to exercise. The latest problem is a bad sprain to my Si ligaments (and I mean latest - 4y of something happening be it pregnancies, major operations, illnesses, etc.). I've been suffering with it not healing properly since December. Gp has me on a large dose of antiinflammatory for 2 months and doesn't expect me to heal by then. I'm out and about for short walks with the buggy which they've said is fine but advised me not to do much more.
Other than trying not to lose too quickly, which is hard as I have a lot to lose so I don't have to try hard, has anyone got any tips to minimise saggy skin without exercise?
