Tmi - don't read until after you pass the sac

Well I never made it to my dnc - what follows is horrific

Tonight the spotting turned into a light period. I started to get very mild cramps then all of a sudden the sac and baby fell out onto my pad. The sac was torn and there was a detached White blob with eyes and nose holes. I was nearly sick, and I am still in shock... I never ever expected that.

I was terrified of seeing it and I got the worse kind of view. I am so angry. They told me d&c was an option ... How was not booking me in for 7 days an option?

I am never ever going to get over seeing that ad long as I live. It is burned into the backs of eyes.

I am now bleeding v heavily and the pain has started, so I am off to A&e. I don't think it all passed since the sac was torn and...well you know.

I am sorry if that was too much for anyone. I really hope no one read it before they have thiers. But I have no one else to share it with apart from oh.

I am really sorry that you experienced that - my doctor warned me that it could be like this. I was lucky enough to pass it without seeing though.

Hope your pain ends soon and that the hospital look after you

I'm so sorry you had to go through this x I know you were worried in earlier threads about it being a possibility. Not surprised you are annoyed the hospital couldnt get you in before, the time wait is horrendous!! You would think they can fit people in! I made it to my EPRC but have an infection now following it (11days since the op) and the drs at my local surgery think i may have 'retained products' still so poss have to have a 2nd EPRC annoyingly I still dont have my letter about the proceedure form the hospital as after persistent chasing it I found out yesterday the Dr at the hospital never wrote my letter - hence why my local Drs didnt know Id mmc or EPRC
I hope you get on ok at a&e and everything sorts out with the pain passing (as best as can) xxx

Oh, I'm so sorry. I passed my baby naturally as well and I refused to look down as it was happening to avoid the sight. I don't know why they'd make you wait so long for the D&C.

I passed my baby last month and went through the same thing. I was not prepared to see what I saw and I was shocked I almost passed out!

Oh my darling....I am so, so sad and sorry for you. Am actualy sat here in tears for you. It took 10 days for them to get me in for my d&c and I was terrified at the time that this is what I would have to go through. I hope you are ok sweetie, that the hospital treated you well and with compassion and that you have llove and support at home. I just feel heartbroken and horrified for you xxxx

They let me go home after three hours as the bleeding subsided

I didn't even get booked in for a D&C until after I'd passed the sac and all of this, and they found there was a bit left behind, so had to operate.
Mine fell right out onto the bathroom floor with me and my OH just looking at it.
It's horrific, but the memory fades in time honey. It never goes away, but it gets better. x

The hospital are even going to check it is gone... They don't want to know unless I show signs of infection like sickness. I feel so cared for not

I'd definately ask them to scan you to make sure, have they not given you a review appointment or anything?
Are they still going ahead with your d&c hun? x
