Which hospital are you at? You can go and see PALS and say you are not happy with not being scanned.

I had Isabella naturally in hospital but I found out she had died Thursday and they originally said come in Monday for induction tablets. We went to pals Friday morning and were admitted right away.

It's just wrong how women are made to go through this at home - like it's not horrific enough to lose you baby.

The hospital are even going to check it is gone... They don't want to know unless I show signs of infection like sickness. I feel so cared for not

I'd definately ask them to scan you to make sure, have they not given you a review appointment or anything?
Are they still going ahead with your d&c hun? x

Maybe try going to your local dr if not happy...thats who seems to be the most helpful for me! I still havent had my letter so dont know exactly what happened with my EPRC but my doctors are going to get me a scan if when the letter finally arrives it says i didnt have one after - they said people should! I would def push for one even if just for a bit more peace of mind and reassurance xxx

Oh love, go and see your GP, and get them to refer you to the EPAU or Gynae for a scan. It's for the best - be insistant x

Oh sweetie i cant imagine how that feels its must have been very trumatic , i also didnt get my D&C till 8 days after scan and was petrified this would happen x

God, you poor thing, just awful .

Like some other I too couldn't look and distinctly remember and knew I was passing the sac when I got a huge urge to push, luckily i was sat on the toilet, and between the tears I just kept flushing and flushing the loo, and wouldn't look down the toilet ALL night. I dread to think what it must have been like for you .

I hope you're successful in getting another scan hun xxxxxx

The EPAU called today as I missed my pre-op. No one had bothered to write in my notes. I told them about being told to go to a&e instead of the ward and they apologised perfusly. They also offered me a scan despite a&e saying it wasn't needed.

So I guess that makes it a little better.

I am so so so so sorry.
I cannot imagine passing it at home and the nerve to make you wait 7 days for a d&c.
