TMI question - help!

So I was in the shower and wanted to check my cervix, as I haven't done so this pregnancy and was just curious about the changes to it during pregnancy. When I did it was super soft and open enough that my finger went right into it! Now I'm worried, should this be of concern? Sign of cervical incompetence? Or is it supposed to be this soft and relaxed? I have occasional cramping but it's up in my belly and I've just contributed it to my stretching uterus

Mine has gone pretty soft, the odd day it feels a bit different.
And yes, I accidentally felt that it seemed a little 'open' I was told it was normal and to only be concerned if there's pain or bleeding.

Make a call to your midwife if you're worried.

I called and they advised I not self examine due to spreading of germs. Made me feel quite bad about it actually! But no, you're only going to be curious of it aren't you.

I'd say it's normal

I've no idea either, I wouldn't even no where to start when it comes to checking my cervix

I wouldn't know how to check my own cervix haha, not sure how it's supposed to feel at your stage but didn't want to read and run. Call your midwife if in doubt
