To BD or not to BD?!

Hey girls, egg collection on Monday....question is do we tonight and have a 2 day abstinence only? or just leave it, we havent since last saturday so if we dont do it, it will be 9 days on day of egg collection-whats best d'ya think?? x x

I am certainly no expert, but I have read that when SA is not good, longer than 2 days can be better for count, but certainly not for morphology. If you are doing icsi, count is not the most important factor (as long as it is not very very bad), good shape is though. So if it was me, I would say go ahead and bd tonight and make it a very special occasion so you are still feeling the benefits of relaxation when you go for et on Monday. But again, there is nothing scientific in what I say but what I concluded from internet readings.

Well he has low count and motility. Ok we will do it tonight lolol. Good idea Rachelle, we will make it a special occasion. Might feel too scared to do it for a while after ET!!!

Here's my 2cents worth!

Our FS recommends BD a couple of days before EC... he thinks its good for the swimmers. We had ICSI (2ww now) and the sperm was all good! (and the BD was all good too!)
