I have an 18 week scan coming up, and my doctor said we can find out the gender if we want to. We've been thinking about it a lot, but we can't seem to make up our minds about it. Are you girls finding out (or found out already)? If yes, why? And if not, why not?

Ive found out with both pregnancies. Mainly because I would rather be free to shop and get a nursery together. I dislike most of what they have for gender neutral, lol.

I found out, because i'm incredibly impatient :L

I plan on finding out! For one, I'm incredibly impatient. I want to be able to call LO a he or a she, not an it. :') Plus, I really don't like any of the gender neutral stuff I've found. I'm all about pink for girls and blue for boys. :p

We plan to find out and we found out with DD just because I'm really impatient and its nice to be able to call them by name and get your nursery all together!

We found with Finn because we both wanted to.

OH doesn't want to find out with this one, but I definitely do, so we will. :p I like shopping and knowing what it is and I think it'll be helpful for Finn to be able to put a name and gender to his new sibling.

I found out because I too am incredibly impatient! Also I like to have a name for my baby. I loved talking to.hin and calling him my baby boy. And bragging about my little boy.
Its.totally on.you though.
Once OH and I try for another one we've agreed to try not to find out. :)

We found out last time but we won't this time.
I didn't really think about it last time but I want a surprise and I want OH to tell me if it's a boy or girl. It'll just make it more exciting not knowing imo :)

I found out, mainly because i like calling her by name. And i could finally buy her stuff! And her nursery is in the process right now and very girly. Couldnt have done that if i stayed team yellow. :)

Thanks for your input, girls. We're still debating, but we'll most likely find out. Thank you!

I found out originally and then found out a few weeks later that the original gender scan was wrong. But i definitely will be finding out for any future kids (But no rush on those, ive got my hands full already. ahahahha.)

We didn't! But we had no choice as our hospital doesn't tell, I hated it tbh, but wish I enjoyed it more, looking down and being able to see what was inside me all that time was was the best moment of my life :')

Can not explain how special that moment was for me and my OH :flow:
