To those had a section before. Is this normal 2weeks in? **TMI pic alert**

Hi ladies

Last Monday the MW said this looks fine. Doesn't look or feel fine to me. This is exactly 2 weeks after surgery. Is this normal looking healing?

I'm no expert but to me that doesn't look in any way fine. To be honest it looks a little puss-like and appears not to be fully closed?? I would go to your gp. xx

It does look a little inflamed with yellow pus, def go see your go for peace of mind. Does it hurt or feel very sore/ hot?

As others have said, I would definitely be concerned if that was my scar. The puss worries me, but also that it's inflamed. If you're worried - you should definitely get it checked out just to be sure. Let us know how everything is!

Mine looks alot neater and cleaner then that at 2weeks PP. Definitely get it checked out

Definitely not right, I've seen surgery scars the same as that and they are infected. Hopefully it's sorted with some antibiotics for you x

Hope you have got it checked out? neither of my c-sections looked like that after. I would guess you need some antibiotics.

Looks infected like my second one, sooner you get anti-b's the better your wound will heal and look. x x x

Just noticed you're in Scotland, my midwife said mine was fine too when it was very badly infected and I had a haematoma, you know best and if they don't listen ask your GP to refer you to the tissue viability nurse, they know what they're doing! x x x

Thanks. I went back to triage and they put Manuka honey on it, seemed to calm down but they put a dry dressing on it yesterday and just took it off today and looks manky again. I'm on antibiotics and just waiting for tissue viability to call midwife back.
