Today I gave my first bit of advice to a newly breastfeeding mum :)

It was to my mam's friends daughter-in-law. I felt very knowledgeable and she thanked me for my advice. And they were all very impressed when I told them I had EBF lo for nearly 5 and 1/2 months. I just took that in my stride until tonight when I went on facebook and watched this video

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36GDuLxX0lI

and the fact section where it says that only 3% of babies are breastfeed at 5 months...........We are one of the 3% :happydance: I am absolutely chuffed to bits :) I'm proud that my daughter is a lovely chunky chatty ball of fun and I did it all by myself with my funbags! My massive bosom's that have got me some very unwanted attention in the past are now baby fatteners  I made it through what seems like an eternity of night feeds, sore nipples, leaky boobs and now some very uncomfortable and screamy teething nights.

A big celebration goes to me, my beautiful chunky daughter and my chesticles :haha:

And all my fellow breastfeeders :flower:

Yay for us! And I see the stats for 4 months is only 7% and my lo is 4 months old on Monday. Granted he's had the odd bottle of formula over the last couple of months but he's still a breastfed baby!

Thanks ladies :) Makes you feel good to know that we've got through tough times and came out the other side.
