Today Im mostly craving... windolene!

Is it just me being totally insane or does anyone else crave the smell of cleaning liquids? My favourites are.... Windolene spray, dettol multi surface cleaner and domestos limescale remover toilet cleaner

I have also developed a strange habit of sniffing the sponge from the bath, I hope Im not a total freak hahaha, everything clean just smells so NICE

The only weird thing ive been doing is holding schwepps lemonade in my mouth because i love the feel of the bubbles in my mouth lmao

i cleaned my nail polish off yesterday & could not get enough of the smell of the remover! nearly full-on inhaled it before reminding myself that that borders on substance abuse

Oh I love the smell of pledge furniture polish too! I also found myself standing in the cleaning aisle sniffing EVERYTHING this week... my mum was with me and found it rather bizarre, she thinks Ive developed some kind of pregnancy OCD! x

I got really upset last week cos the supermarket didn't have the dettol multisurface cleaner in the scent that I was craving for. I just wanted to spray my whole kitchen and then stand and sniff! I've moved on since then I'm now craving creosote and White spirit - I was so happy in Wickes on Sunday!!

Ooh no it's not about the cleaning at all, it's literally about sniffing! These are called Pica cravings - when you're body craves things that aren't edible...I imagine my sponge fetish will start soon. Nothing quite like chewing on a big bit of sponge (and yes I do mean the type you use to wash yourself with!)

I know, it's all I can do to stop myself from cracking open a bottle of White spirit and having a good sniff! It's all I can think about sometimes :-S I haven't done it for obvious reasons but if I were to walk past a fence that had just been creosoted I wouldn't be able to help myself!!!

phew!!! i am glad im not the only one!
my husband and kids all think im strange for craving the smell of cleaning products. I went through this craving with my first son, nothing with my second and mow im having it again, it just started this week when i smelt a kitchen cleaner. It literally made my mouth water! i would never drink it but it smells good enough to drink. I just want to sniff and sniff it for ages lol

OMG this is so funny... My mum and dad have an old coal fire and dad had chopped some sticks to put on it, they were hoever - covered in creosote! I spent like 5-6 mins standing in their hallway sniffing the air. My Mum thought I had TOTALLY lost it and all I could say was but it smells so lovely!!

I havent craved anything edible (except food in vast quantities) but I just LURVE smelly things hahaha x

Mines smelling rubber, spec new hot water bottles and i bought my little boy some school pumps in the next size up and they smell delightful! i have also developed a liking to bite/chewing , so i chew/bite my toothbrush and sniff the pumps at he same time, i look wierd, i allow my self 5 mins of bliss, but i have started to like the smell of the dishwasher when it just finished, petrol, i dont want to eat any of it but love the smell!

could it be a citrus craving? lots of cleaners have citric ingredients, you could have something lemony and see if that helps! x

I'm loving cleaning and loving the smell of a clean house. Mine is my Mr Muscle Lavender furniture polish. OHHH i can't get enough!
