today is not my day.. Opinions and help please girls

I went to my hospital appointment today.. only to be told by my obstetrician that im only 34+3 today? WTF?! I was like now im 35+6...how can my dates have changed AGAIN?! fair enough if it was a few days variation but nearly two weeks?! First my doctor thought i was 28 weeks, when i was only 25! now this!! My due dates now 2nd october i feel soo stupid, but it really made me upset... i feel like im never going to meet my baby and they are going to just keep changing my dates.

What would you do?
1) i know my baby was conceived on the 14th January.
2) from my LMP my due dates 22nd September
3) from my 24 week scan the due dates 2nd october
the woman at the scan said that im measuring 25 weeks(babys skull) and that was only a few days different from the dates i was using from my LMP.. so how the hell has it now been changed to 24 weeks? which is like 2 whole weeks different they've said that can't be accurate with later scans the later the dating scan the less accurate (i never had an earlier one) What date would you use?Its like they haven't taken into consideration other aspects you know? but hes scribbled out all my old due dates and changed them on my paper work.. but i really don't feel its right it would make pregnant for like ages? im going to have a word with my midwife.. im even measuring ahead of my new dates.. it just annoys me they only think to tell me now that my dates have changed, one minute its less than a month away now its well over a month.

Sorry its soo long this has just really made me down stupid hormones!

Hm. Sounds like a tough decision. The reason that they changed your due dates may not be because they believe you conceived later, but maybe your baby is measuring a little small for the weeks your at. It may seem like a lot, but 1.5 weeks isnt that much. A lot of babies are born several weeks early. So keep your chin up and just know that it shouldnt matter as long as baba is healthy!

Well im measuring just under 36 weeks..
and i wasn't saying that i thought they changed it because of when i conceived sorry if thats how it sounded, but this new date just seem aaaaages away and has just really knocked me for six. I just wish they told me sooner that the 2nd October was my due date not so late in my pregnancy (so i thought) humph. But as long as i have a healthy baby ill be happy and hes worth every second of carrying him

i wouldnt worry too much about you due date because not may babys are born on there due date so i wouldnt worry about it too much xx

i think ill keep my original dates, and then if hes not here by then i wont worry and use the hospital ones haha.

i can imagine how gutting that must feel, and to everyone else it may seem like youre over reacting but when you just cant wait to meet your LO it seems like forever to wait. that's a really optimistic view you've decided to take though! ^^ good luck with everything.
