hi, my boy is 2 next month and needing to get a passport photo taken this week, plan to take him to a photo shop where someone will take a pic rather than a booth. My son won't sit still and I think it's going to b a challenge!anyone else had to do it with a toddler who won't sit still!

We had our LOs done in the Sainsburys. Our local sainsburys has a Timpsons in it (you know, the key cutting company) but they also offered a photo service and guaranteed the photo would've ok.

I wondered how they would do it but we had LO in a trolley so they held a white board behind him, took the pic and thendid a bit of zooming in and jiggery pokery to get it right.

Don't know if that's an option for you? It worked well (I that's if your LO will sit in a trolley of course!)

We had ours done at Snappy Snaps and the photographers there were great and patient! (we did it several times as we keep forgetting to actually apply for a passport :haha:)

My Lo was only about 4m but she just sat on the floor in front of the background and they snapped a quick picture. Any good photographer knows what to do and how to do it quick.

I took the pictures myself and used the website picturelizard. They check the photos and let you know if they are acceptable, also their printing charges are very reasonably priced.

I may have to try this!

A shop photographer done it cost 5 pounds and he did it perfect for her because it's a stranger and always a bit better then so I would go to a shop rather than one of those machines. They take loads of pics and choose the best ones x

It's a lot easier than taking them to a professional as you can keep snapping at home until you get the right picture and hopefully your LO will be more relaxed at home.

Think used snappy snaps as the guarantee that it will get a accepted or they will give you a free 'reshoot'
