Hi guys

I need advice... i have brought a double pram for when the baby comes, but Coby is going through a stage wehre he is refuseing to sit in his pram and wants to walk everywhere.

Im not considering getting a buggy board instead for him so he can walk and have the option to be wheeled if he gets tired.

Only consern i have is if its raining, i am going to look in to getting him wellies and wet weather coat/hat etc but im not sure how he will cope with it all.

How does your toddler cope with the rain?

Im not sure weather to keep the double as a back up or just to get my money back and only have teh single and buggy board.

i have the buggy board, at 1st chloe hated it now she loves it! i cudnt afford double after it broke, she doesnt need wellies wen its raining and shes fine with coat and hat! she hates waterproof! as long as she has a warm cardie on under her coat shes fine!kids are tougher than we think lol!

how do you get on with the board, whats its like up and down curbs?

x

its easy as up and down kerbs! i thot it wud b hel but its not! also easy on off bus! only problem is walking downhill( i live on a hill) but its no biggie, i do it everyday lol u get used to it!

Thanks hun, I think i will defo look in to getting one and just keep the double for emergancys, it was only £120 so its not a big amount of money to have wasted

Thanks for that Skiwi!

Looks like there are good and bad points to it, same as teh buggy board really, what i like about it is that its at teh side so i can walk normaly rather than haveing to walk back a bit if there was a buggy board in front of me.

Its only going to be for teh school runs and going back and forth to the local shops, if i go up town or anything then i will prob use the double so i can get where im going quicker. :)

layla, u dont need to walk back a bit 4m the buggy board really, its in line with the pram, i know its sounds daft, but its hard to explain!

i have long legs and short arms lol

x

only way i can explain it, see wen buggy is lying down... thts all space it takes up! it looks huge, but it dont feel much diff, cept wen ur goin downhill liek i sed lol!

i dont know, when i walk my feet tend to kick the back of the pram, if a bugy board is meant to go there then i will kick it all the time wont i?

Showed jase the bike thing, he likes it too so i think we are going with that, 60 quid mind! so i will try to find a cheaper one on ebay

buggy boards are £50 lol, so not much diff!

will coby manage to hold on to bike thingy :?

yeah i think so, on holiday he loved the carasell rides, he was on them all the time and wasnt straped in or anything, he sits really well on them...

cool :D pity theres nowhere you can try these things 1st tho eh!!

chloe hasted her buggy board at 1st n refused to stand on it! she loves it now thankfully!!!

yeah i would prefer to test it out first, shame there not in the shops really.

If for any reason he doesnt get on with it i will just sell it, going to get a cheap one so that i donht waste money in case he doesnt like it, but im sure he will :D
