tommee tippee bottle warmer help

Hiya we`ve bought the plug in tommee tippee bottle warmer but are a bit confused as to how to use it. can we use it to keep boiled water hot and then just add the formula when lo is hungry so that the bottle is still in effect made fresh or do they only go hot enough to warm up a premade bottle if that makes sense?

Hi, The way we use ours is to switch on when lo needs a feed and add a premade bottle to warm up.
I'm not sure about using it to keep water warm before a feed - personally I wouldn't do that and it doesn't say about that in the instructions.

thanks chick, id read the instructions and thought they implied that it was to warm up premade bottles but then got confused with everybody seeming to say you shouldnt premake bottles so didnt know if theyd design a bottle warmer to warm premade bottles when they tell you not to premake them. argh so confusing lol

You can't use it to keep water in a bottle warm because its like an open kettle. It constantly boils.

We sterilise our bottles, fill with hot water, cool in the fridge, add formula when the bottle is needed, then heat up in the bottle warmer.
