Does anyone have one of these and can explain to me how you use it? I've got one but have no idea what i've done with the instructions so have no clue what i'm doing!:dohh:

Setting 3 to warm milk up and settings 1&2 to keep jar foods warm!

Hth :flower:

I didn't find the TT bottle warmer to be very effective at all, in fact I took mine back to Boots the next day as it did not heat up properly.

Has anyone else had this problem or does your's work fine???

Maybe I bought a defective one???

Mine is pretty good, although if my little miss is screaming the house down, I do use the microwave to take the chill off as its quicker than the bottle warmer.

You hear and read so much about how dangerous it is to use the microwave to heat bottles - is this only because of potential hot spots? Surely giving the bottle a good shake after zapping it will eliminate this problem?

I used to use the microwave and am considering using it again because it is sooo much quicker! But was worried it might be doing some harm...

I think it's due to the hot spots but I just take the chill off. Tbh, I've used microwaves to heat bottles for the last 10 years (I work in childcare) and not had a problem... Just like premaking bottles!!

Thanks for your response...my husband and I read your response together and had a little giggle. You've inspired us to start using our microwave again - never mind the over-cautious advice you read in books and magazines.

We just take the chill off also and give it a good shake afterwards.

Quicker than heating in hot water and cheaper than buying a TT bottle warmer!!

mine was pants!! in the end i bought the avent one and thats equally as pants lol..thinking of using the microwave how long do you put it on for just to take the chill off

<3

I do my 4 oz bottles for 25 seconds and give them a shake, sometimes 30 seconds at night. The bottles feel warm but the milk is still cold

Haha! It's true though, everything has gone a bit health and saftey mad!

charlotte-xo It depends on your microwave and the watts! It should literally just take between 20-30seconds though

My bottle warmer is fantastic warms it so quickly even from the fridge.

my tt bottle warmer takes ages! it takes about 10 mins to get warm. when you have a screaming baby, 10 mins is a life time

I pop 5 oz bottles in the microwave for 30 seconds and then give them a good shake...this takes the chill off amd brings the temp to room temperature.

It says on the box it takes 4 mins to warm bottles, but if you look in the instructions that is only for the smallest bottles. My baby currently has 150ml and it takes about 7-10 minutes to get her milk nice and warm. I only use it at night though as I premake my bottles with just the water, then I add the formula at each feed after I warm the water back through. I always change her before a feed though so this takes up the warming time.

I'm glad someone else makes their bottles like this was beginning to think i was doing it wrong!

mine is great - 5 minutes to warm straight from fridge and 4 minutes from room temp  Ava takes 4oz feeds.

Ours was awful. we took it back after a few days as it was spitting boiling hot water everywhere. Thw manager of the store was very doubtful and said she would have to go and try it.
She came back 5 mins later with a burnt hand and immediately gave us our money back!! Since then we've been doing the old trick of putting it in a jug of water lol
