Hello ladies..

Which one would you recommend and why?!

Many thanks :)

I love Tommee Tippee bottles, my LO drinks very comfortably from them. I bought them when I was pregnant because I planned to combine breast and bottle feeding and saw they were shaped to be like a breast. They are so easy to clean and sterilise aswell and I love the shape and design, they are really comfortable to hold! We did try MAM and Dr Brown when colic was an issue but much prefer TT

i brought the tommee tippee anti colic exactley same as dr browns but i think teats better shape and lottie-may loves em went from using avent to them, highly recommeded

It depends which TT bottles you mean? Just the bog-standard Anti-colic (with the vent in the teat) or the TT Anti-Colic+ (with the pipette in the middle)?

If it's the basic ones vs Dr Brown's, then no contest, Dr Brown's were better for us. Our LO suffered horrendously with wind on the basic TT CTN bottles, and when we switched to Dr Brown's she was a different baby.

The problem came when she started wanting 8oz bottles. When you add the powder to the 8oz of water, it would put the milk above the "Do Not Fill" line on the Dr Brown bottles. This would (sometimes) make them leak horrendously.

We tried the TT Anti colic+ bottles (which have a pipette like the Dr Browns ones) and they were a great replacement :) They work exactly the same way as the Dr Brown's ones (I reckon they ripped off the idea :haha:) but they hold more. And they have a little valve thing on the bottom of the pipettes which prevents the milk being sucked back up the pipette, so you can be a bit more vigourous when swirling the milk to mix it :)

I haven't voted in the poll, simply because what bottle I recommend really does depend on which type of TT CTN one you're asking about!

I introduced a bottle when Emms was 3 months old. She seemed to hate the TT CTN ones - swallowed loads of air, cried, and only drank a few oz at most. When I tried a Dr Brown's bottle, she took to it like a dream! So I sold all my TT's on eBay and bought a load of Dr Brown's. :)

All babies are different of course. I have friends that swear by the CTN bottles.

I started off with TT and loved the bottles but Max didn't and I could see he was sucking in so much air. We switched to Dr Browns at 3 weeks and I've not looked back

We prefer TT. Ellie struggles to drink from the DB ones.

I have used and liked both, but they each have their own benefits.

TT are really easy to clean and sterilise - I love that you can put the teat in the ring before sterilising so you don't have to touch it after. They aren't so good if LO has had wind/colic/reflux though.

Dr Brown are great for reducing wind or for colic etc, but are a right pain to clean and sterilise.

I use TT CTN and have had no problems. Summer clearly has no problems feeding from them either! xx

Thank you so much for your responses ladies..

Eala, I meant the Tommee Tippee Anti-Colic+

I am a fan of Dr brown bottles, have used them for my prem twins who are nearly 7, my 4 yr old and I am using them again for my new baby girl. Also now you can get a Dr brown microwave sterilIser. Tesco direct sell it twenty quid including two bottles. Hope that helps x

Because 5 people recommended them to me :) Yep, that's all I have. I love them though!

I've used Tommee Tippee Closer To Nature since my son was born (I expressed for the first three months) - hes now six months.

I would highly recommend them as they're dead easy to hold when feeding the baby. Mine are only just yellowing now, having been washed and sterilised since day 1 (I did change the teats, mind).

Expensive but worth it, I think. Plus, they are usually on offer in one of the supermarkets.

I HATE the TT anti colic + ones.I spent a fortune on them and the rubber bit stopped fitting on the end of the valve so they leaked every where. Biggest waste of money ever.
I'd def go for Dr Browns!

deffo Dr brown's here just wish they did a variflow teat! x
