Too Big??

Im just over 14 weeks now & my tummy does appear to be sticking out a fair bit..I definately look more pregnant than I am..

Is this anything to worry about??

Also every day at work someone has to comment

"Oh ur really big arent u?"
"Are u sure theres only 1 in there"?
"U'll be huuuuge soon"

I dont know if they realise but its winding me up/upsetting!!
I tell my DH what they say & he says go along with it & say "actually im having triplets & they are due any min now"!!

I have had that throughout my pregnancy, and it annoyed me soo much, just let it go over your head babe

I get lots of remarks at work as well. I don't know why people have to be so rude. I wasn't skinny but I wasn't over weight and now that I am pregnant the girls at work always have to comment. I always have watched what I ate and they just gave me a hard time because I'm anal about my weight. (They are all over weight and unhappy) so they have to find someone to take it out on. Try not to stress out about it and enjoy being pregnant. The only reason why people say stuff is because they have nothing better to talk about. One of these days I might go postal if they keep it up (it's nerve racking). I'm sure you look beautiful and that you're just glowing.

Dont worry everyone grows at thier own pace as long you know its not due to overeating or anything... I had a very bloated look from about 6 weeks then got slightly bigger I am was a size nine so when my belly started to grow I just looked like I have a fat stomach now I finally look pregnant at just over 18 weeks thank goodness... If you are eating right and feel good about yourself dont worry about how much you are showing you body is going to do what it need to do to accomodate

Those type of comments always bothered me. UGH!

I am glad that I work from home and the only time I really interact with others is when I drop my kids off at school. Thank goodness other mothers are usually quite understanding of pregnancy. I hope anyhow....time will tell

Yeah I think I'll have to start being rude & telling people that Im offended!
I get compliments too- alot of people say I'm glowing & look great but with the comes the "ur big" comments!!

Don't people realize that many are very self-conscious about their weight, especially during pregnancy? Don't people have any class? LOL

Don't let them get you down. Everyone grows at different rates. My sister is about 3 weeks behind me and looks a good month ahead!! I think bloating plays a big part in the early days and also how strong your stomach muscles are. Also everyone is a different shape so some just look bigger than others.

Haha yeah i get that alot as well!
Don't let them get you down, be proud of the bump you have it's fit just for you! Be proud and happily say "Why I think I'm a perfect size! Wanna touch?" They should shut up eventually!

i showed at only 4-5 weeks can you believe that ? and my husband said maybe 2 boys are in there, but i'm not worry about it at all because i'm happy to have a bump and my doctor said i'm just bloated. I just think for myself that my baby has bigger room to stay and grow:LOL:
