Too early to test?

My husband and I have not been using any kind of protection for the past two weeks. My April period is due April 8th and my last period was Feb 11. Would April 11 to too early to test? I took a negative test last night.

Safest if the first day of your missed period. Or 10dpo.

I got my bfp at 12dpo. But of course I tested past that cause I was all anxious lol. If you want to be 100% sure, they say after you missed period is best but I know its hard to wait!

So many variables go into when you could get your bfp so I agree that the safest is to wait until day of missed period. A negative test before that could just mean hcg hasn't built up enough!
