My husband and I are flip-flopping between Owen and Sebastian. I love them both, but is Owen becoming too popular these days? I don't want our son to be one of several in his class!

I like Owen! You can also spell it Eoin and Eoghan (it's the irish way... kinda strange, but different). And I don't think I know any young Owen's... only as middle names.

Sebastian would be my choice its a beautiful name but Owen is just a bit meh imho

I like them both really.... thinking about it, I prefer Seb. It's more unusual, and very handsome.

Owen is still unique where I live in Florida!

I don't like Owen, but I really like Sebastion :) I've not heard of any children being called either names in the recent years.

I love Sebastian and it was one of our choices, my Dad's uncle (who was a year younger than him) was called Owen and it's a lovely name but personally I love Sebastian.

Neither are popular where I live or where I will be moving too.

I love both names, however Owen is a popular name where I am. I think it was probably more popular a few years ago though.

I prefer Sebastian anyways. Or Bastian. :)

I love Sebastian!!, it's second on our list. Not keen on Owen at all. As far as I'm aware neither are common where I live. I only know of one Owen.

:flower:

I like Owen, but Sebastian reminds me too much of the crab thing from the little mermaid :L sorry
