Wasn't planning to end up here, but I guess life surprises you sometimes ...
My OH and I had a condom break around 11:30 pm on September 19th. We didn't realise until it was (far) too late lol.
I took Levonelle (the morning after pill) next morning at 10 am, so well within the 12 hour limit for greatest efficiency. However, I was having EWCM at the time we DTD and apparently if you have already ovulated/are close to ovulating, the pill doesn't usually work. I am pretty certain I ovulated the next day, September 21st, which means the pill definitely failed (I can generally feel ovulation happen, and end up with a sore stomach for a day or so afterwards).
I thought I was done and never wanted to have another baby (and so I took the MAP) but having thought about it with typical rose-tinted glasses, I am totally prepared to have a new baby. It'd be bloody lovely, actually - though not entirely ideal, somehow we would cope!
Anyone else been in my position or currently going through this?
Don't have any symptoms of anything really but since it's too early for implantation, that's not unusual, even if I am going to end up pregnant. My period is due around 4th/5th October.
Hope someone will come talk to me!
