Boosters are absorbant. Liners are just there to catch most of the poo, making it easier to flush and less likely to stain the nappy. Fleece liners also act as a stay-dry layer to keep your baby's skin dry. It's up to you whether or not to use liners, but you may find they make things easier particularly when you get to the weaning stage.
