I had an ultrasound yesterday and now today I have what looks like the start of a/f! It's just that I need to arrange a cd3 test. I am only on cd14 at the moment but my cycles seemed to be a bit screwed up at the moment.

Anyone experience any bleeding following a scan?

Chanel,

I have had plenty of Transvaginal scans and it's never brought on AF.

It might just be a little bleeding from the procedure??

The bleeding is not full flow but looks brown like old blood and generally what I would get at the beginning of a/f!

I'm hoping it is af so I can organis my cd3 tests but on day 14 that's really strange for me

I did, but my af was due the same day so I wouldnt say it brought it on.
Are you normaly regular?

I'm anywhere between 21 and 35 days so at 14 days this is ver short for me but last cycle was anovulatory and I suspect this was gong to be the same which are the first anovulatory cycles that I've had!

I reckon it is af as opposed to bleeding as a result of the scan but I'll see what tonight brings before making a cd3 test appt

Hey Chanel

I didn't have any bleeding BUT they did do my HSG straight after my transvaginal scan... and the way they were poking around with it i wouldn't be surprised if there was some light bleeding from all the bumping around - especially if you are near ovulation time xx

I just hope its a/f and i can get some lh/fsh testing done to see how bad the situation is! I have a holiday coming up that i completely forgot about when i was at the clinic and they were talking about my CD3 test and knowing my luck if this isn't a/f now she'll come on holiday when i can't get the cd3 test done. Oh and my specialist is away for november/december time!

Grrrr most anoying considering ive put a holiday off for the past year or so always thinking id be pregnant and not really want to go away.

Do any of you ever wonder if you were hit with the unlucky stick when you were born :-s

Book the holiday hun. I went away at 20 weeks and it was lovely. Just do it - worst case scenario book it with a major operator so you can move it to a different date/location and there's NOTHING like Sod's law for getting you pregnant! xxx
