Has anybody used a travel steriliser or the travel steriliser bags? We're going away for a week and I don't want to take my big steriliser with me as I don't think we'll have enough room in car. Any reccommendations girls?

You could use milton tablets. A box of 28 tabs is £1.30 and they are all individually wrapped.

You dissolve one tablet in 5 litres of cold water then put the bottles etc in the solution and leave them for 15 minutes and job done.

I've done this in a hotel with half a tablet in a jug of water and at my mum's house with a tablet in a big saucepan of water and the saucepan lid on upside down to keep the bottles under the water. (They have to be totally submerged to be sterilised, floating is no good!)

I've used the microwave bags, they are easy and reuseable. xx

Ive used the microwave bags too (Lindam) for a weekend away, I think if I was going for a week and I had a pan and a stove (as you do!!) I'd do it that way but if not the bags are good and take up no space.

Yes, I've used Lindam microwave steriliser bags (from tesco)- great! I make bottles up fresh so it's handy for one bottle but if you are making maybe 6 up at once it would take a while to put them in and out of bag. I plan to take them on hol as Katie is only on 2 bottles a day.

Thanks girls. I've bougth some microwave bags - Lindam!
