anyone have any recommendations, and an idea of what sort of price you paid for these?

I got a Quinny and paid £500 inc. delivery. It came with frame, seat, XL seat, car seat, carrycot, and accessories like shopping basket, mosquito net, footmuff, blankets, raincover etc etc

I got the Britax vigour 4+ and paid just under £400 for carrycot, pushchair and car seat!

I got the My4, pram mode, carry cot, either way facing pram mode/pushchair mode.

id love to know why people spend over £400 on travel system... why?
its an crazy amount of money when it could go towards so many other things.

mine was £159 it did the job! graco from toys r us

i had the graco cleo....liked it in the pics and comes with lots of things looks nice but i wouldnt recommend it, its clumpy doesnt fold up nicely, an absolute must is a degree in sciene to take apart and put back together aswell!! Only used the pram liner a couple of times just use the car seat and the buggy now but as soon as ehs old enough ill be buying a lightweight buggy for him!

Because we're hoping to keep it for our next little one too and we had the money for it saved. If you have the money then why not? When we looked at cheaper options they didnt seem as good quality or do everything that we wanted them to do.
It is all personal oppinion.

Cosatto cabi
Car seat, frame, forward and rearward seat, carrycot, change bag, footmuff.
£350ish (cant reemmber exactly lol)

Why spend that much money? That was the cheapest one we found that had everything we needed in a travel system.

we have the bugaboo cameleon and spent upwards of £700 on ours, comes with carry cot. we choose to spend that money as it was the one we loved, i particularly loved how the car seat fits onto the frame, i no quite a few do that but just loved the bugaboo and we could afford it. as melbo says its just personal choice :) x

I agree, I couldnt find anything much cheaper either but even if I could It still wouldnt have swayed my choice. I dunno if the graco one has all of the features of the one I have? mine does the following plus more-
Folds really easily and very small
pnematic tires for offroading with baby hahaha
carry cot faces both ways
pram mode faces both ways
pushchair mode faces both ways
extendable handle for tall hubbys
lie flat mode, or any angle mode should you need it.
well worth the money i would say
xxxx

thanks!

Is there a graco with a carrycot? I can't find one but maybe i'm looking in the wrong place?

i appreciate that the amount of cash spent is a personal decision - if i can get exactly what I'm looking for then I wouldn't mind paying a bit more - especially if it will be good quality and last for a while.

With the carrycots, do you know if the LO can sleep in there for periods of time? Or does it specifically depend on the brand?

i cant find a graco with a carrycot either. That could be why its a good price.
I think you would be looking to spend £350 minimum to get what you want.
Its all about what you like and what is practical, and the my4 for me is fanastic.
I really can't recommend it enough

EDIT
found a graco quattro with carry cot, £250 but dont come with foot muff, changing bag.

I read a few reviews, looks good! The only downside I read about is the swivelly wheels can have a mind of their own, and that its a bit bulky when closed down. But aside from that, all good reviews.

my graco cleo has the carrycot but its pants came to £350 i think with car seat base rain cover foot muff bag but no parasol had to buy tht seperately bulky isnt the word re folding down!!

heres a pic for you..

We have the Bebe Confort Loola Up. We paid £330 for the pushchair & car seat, carrycot is an optional extra, and costs about £170 in mothercare, but you can get it for less if you shop around ont he net.

i got that one for £230

Buggy, carry cot, car seat and car seat base on the side of the car seat it has a circle of colour witch is blue but will turn yellow if its not level in the car and it just clips on and off the buggy/pram

We bought the concord neo travel system for £750. It's just won the best travel system ever built.

I paid that amount of money because I can afford it and it comes with everything I need. Each to their own.
