Trigger or BFP?? Help Please!

I am wondering when people have tested the trigger shot out of their system.......

I take Pregnyl (I think 10,000 USP) usually 36hrs before my IUI. This cycle it was 12hrs.

I usually have BFN's at 6/7dpiui.

This cycle, I tested at 9dpiui and got a positive. Have positives yesterday and today. Now these are FAINT and look to be decreasing. But I am wondering if this is the trigger or could it be a BFP. Trying not to get my hopes up bc most likely it is the stupid trigger.

FYI- I tested at 9dpiui, just to MAKE SURE it was NEGATIVE! So when I tested at 11/12 dpiui, I didn't have to wonder about this.

Feeling pretty stupid right now, lol.

Thanks in advance for any comments. My beta is not until Monday so I have a lot of time to think and obsess about this. And not spend my time working at work. Thank God there are not a lot of people here to catch me online.

Our clinic told me it can take up to 10days or more for it to be out of your system. This is why some dr at my clinic won't do a beta till 16dpo. They want to be sure that the hcg is natural not the trigger. Hang in there and try to hold off for a few days before testing again.

springy- thanks. my office does betas at 13dpo and told me to do a urine test at 12dpiui when i couldn't come in for blood once.... i have seen the 16dpiui wait period before but i don't know how common it is. thankfully, i don't have to wait that long cause it takes me 5 days off progesterone for AF to start.

So, here is pics of the clearance from one of my cycles. the bottom two strips are 6dpiui. Hope the link works....

Anyway, I know for a fact that my body is just flat unpredictable! so i am honestly not going to be surprised if it takes 6/7 dpiui to clear for 2 cycles (didn't test for the third, i don't think) and then 12dpiui for this cycle. same meds, same injection area. i should not be surprised at this with all the curve balls my stupid body has thrown me.
