trigger shot - am feeling awful! is this normal?

took the shot this morn at 8am and now I am all aches and pains. Muscles are aching in my back, shoulders and neck... like I have a really bad flu or something.. stomach is bloated and so sore and sore to touch. In bed wrecked. Is this normal reaction to it???

Is this your mid cylce shot to induce ovulation? I have had a couple of these and yes - I always feel pretty awful for about 48 hours - really bloated and sore. I can never do my top button up after the shot!!! Hope you feel better soon,

You sound poorly, did the doctor not warn you that you might? Is there a medical person you could ring and check?

I usually feel sore where i get the shot and tired for most of the day. It seems though for me, the shot hurts more every month I get it. I get back aches as well from it too.

hi girls thanks for replies! The shot is to bring on ovulation.. to make the egg come out basically. feeling bit better this am. Slept for 8 hours so feel better! its been 35 hrs now since I took it

Do you know if you always ovulate after the trigger shot?

you should. its usually 36-48 hours later
