Trimesters Query?

hi ladies!

Can someone help me....what dates do the trimesters change? Is it 13 or 14 weeks when you become 2nd trimester? I keep seeing mixed answers.

End of week 13 I go from

It depends on what country you are in I believe. I think US counts week 14 as start of 2nd tri (my ob office counts this way), UK and Canada count 13 weeks as beginning. If you want to get technical 40÷3 is like 13.333333 so both are technically wrong

First trimester-1 to 13 weeks
Second trimester- 14 to 27 weeks
Third trimester- 28 to 40 weeks

Thank you ladies. Maybe it is the difference between the countries where I’m getting confused!!
