I can't believe he is four and a half months already!!! Time is flying by. The midwife said he is doing well and is thriving. He has gone through a bit of a growth spurt over the last month and is now 16lbs and 8oz (just under the
75th percentile) and is now 67cm (nearly the 91st percentile) - so he looks like he is going to be tall like his daddy.
He had his vaccinations and was so good and only cried a bit. He was so brave.
I spoke to her about his dry skin, especially over his birth mark on his back and told her that I had made an appointment on Monday to discuss it with the GP. She said that it could be a bit of baby eczema and that I should definately not consider weaning till 6 months as this can help babies with sensitive skin (I have never heard this before but it sounds like good advice).
So, all in all, the appointment went fairly well.
