So this is our story. My husband and I have been trying since April 2009, we got a bfp at the end of September but found out at our dating scan that the baby stopped devloping at 6 weeks. I had an ERPC on 1st December and after waiting a month for my 1st AF we started trying again on 1st January but as yet we haven't managed to get a BFP.
As I am 35 we decided that after the last cycle I would go and see the doctor as it will have been almost 6 months since the operation and 15 months since we started trying. Ok for 12 weeks of that I thought I was pregnant but if you take that away from the 15 months total thats still 12 months.
The doctor was totally unhelpful. I took charts where I had temped between January - April, she said she didn't need to look at them. I explained my concerns over my age and she just said because I got pregnant before without assistance that she could see no reason for investigations and told me to go off and keep trying till the end of October and if still no bfp then go back.
That seems like a long time to me as then it will be 20 months since we started trying. Everyone I have spoken to has told me to go back but and ask to speak to another doctor I don't want to be a pain. What do you ladies think should I go back?
