Ok, so my Husband & I have been TTC since Feb. 2014. I had my period on July 1-3 & then I had another one on July 29- August 1st. Asked my Dr about it, she said it was normal & that it looks like my cycle is 28 days. So she said I should get another one at the end of August. Well it's August 30 and still no period. However, I tested yesterday and got a VERY VERY VERY faint positive. I tested again this morning and got the same result. I used the Rexall tests from Dollar General. Should I switch to digital? Or wait another week? Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

congrats!!

if you want to test with a different brand, just pick one with the same sensitivity to hCG. if it's less sensitive, it could show up negative or wait a couple days and re-test with the same brand and then you can compare...?

Thank you! I was just wondering because they are the blue dye tests & i've heard people say that blue dye isn't the most reliable!

yeah, i've never used one but they don't have a good reputation for early testing around here. for later testing i imagine they're not bad?

From what I have read on the box FRER is the most sensitive HPT...Its one you can test up to 6 days before your missed period...Congrats on your BFP

Good luck and congrats I'd test with a FRER too as they seem to be most reliable.

The dollar store tests are actually just as sensitive as FRER's. I would go get more of those.

Congratulations, arice31!, Hopefully you got your BFP which was faint positive in August end.
