Trying not to get my hopes up

Hi everyone! First post here so bare with me. We have been TTC for around a year now, everything is usually pretty regular, I take provera 10mg for 10 days to start my cycle, on days 2-6 of my cycle I take Letrozole 2.5mg and I ovulate like clockwork, and my cycles start becoming regular. That is until last February, I had a normal cycle, ovulated, we did the deed, then the following month AF showed up, but this time very light and only for two days, I took my letrozole as per usual, no ovulation this time... April comes and goes, no AF. Talk to my Doctor and he says take the provera again to start my cycle again. Took 10mg for 10 days, that was 18 days ago. 6 days ago I noticed some red (like new blood) spotting, for two days, then nothing. Yesterday and today, same thing. Provera has never not worked for me, so I'm a tad confused as to what it could be. Any help would be appreciated!

Yes, and they're coming up negative, took one this morning.
