trying to chart...very confused...

hi - i am trying to chart now. never did with previous four pregnancies (all lost in first trimester)
so, in theory i should be ovulating on tuesday or wednesday, but my opk spiked last week. can i ovulate on cd8 or cd9? has anyone else had this cycle?
