First ever post so don’t know if it’s in the right place but looking to see if anyone else has experienced this?
I have been on the pill for the last 3.5 years and have came off to try and conceive baby number 2.
first period since finishing the pill started on 19th August and lasted the usual 7 days. (That was expected as body would be expecting me to begin taking the pill again)
my next period which would be first period without being on the pill started (properly) on 21st sept. Almost 4 weeks ago and still bleeding.
On speaking to doctor they think it’s down to coming off the pill and might take a while for my body to get into a normal routine.
Has anyone else experienced this? Just wondering how long it took to stop bleeding / regulate “normal” periods?
