Trying to Conceive after Nexplanon

Boy has it been a while since I have been here, but I am so excited to say that starting in February we are trying for number 2! I have had Nexplanon, and will be having it removed the first week of the month. Does anyone here have any experience trying to conceive after using it? Is there a waiting period to make sure conception is safe and the pregnancy runs smoother?

Sorry if some of these questions have some obvious answers, but DD was a miracle baby so this is the first time we've actually tried for one.

When I had mine out I was told you can literally get pregnant straight away, and that was by the nurse who took if out

im getting mine out on the 26th november, hoping to start trying in january. hoping this is long enough to get the hormones out of my system
