Trying to conceive with a blood clot

My husband and I have been trying to conceive. My doctor put me on clomid day 3-7 and on day 6 he did a HSG and found a large blood clot that must of been there since my previous m/c. Since I started clomid there is a chance I will get pregnant this month. My dr told me there is a chance I will m/c again if the egg attaches to the blood clot...although he said that millions of women conceive with blood clots in there uterus and go on to have perfectly healthy babies..now we're just confused if we should ttc or skip this month and wait to get the clot removed. Anyone have any suggestions, or has anyone else experienced something like this? Thank you
