Hey guys!
Hubby and I have been TTC since April of last year with no luck thus far.
A little background on me -- when I was younger (around 2007-2008) I was diagnosed with hypothyroid and put on a thyroid medication. I lost weight, felt amazing, and then after a while I stopped taking it. Bad move on my part, of course. The weight has slowly been building up over the years despite the fact that I eat well, and I have other symptoms of hypothyroid as well. I went to the doctor wednesday and had a blood test and my level came back at 4.1 TSH and they're considering that "normal"
I'm going to be going to the doctor on the 18th (first appointment I could get) to see if I can get back on the meds, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experience in this area?
If so, what were your levels before going on meds? What meds did you get on? Did they help? I have been reading that 1-2 TSH level is best when TTC so I'm hoping the doctor will take that into account when I go see her.
Thanks!
