TTC#1 Buddies

Hey Everyone!

I am 27 and trying for my first! I have been TTC since around April/May this year, but took some time off for a month or two over the summer as our lives changed a bit and wanted some time to settle!
We began trying again from the 1st of September- although I only ovulated yesterday (I think). So now I am in the TWW.
I am tracking my temps, CM, and CP. And trying to change my diet to more "fertility friendly" foods.
I am looking for some TTC buddies to keep me sane and positive though this process! I am also keen to here any tips or just general chat about your experiences TTC number one!

Hi bellabee! I would love to be TTC buddies! I am 28 and we are trying for our first. I stopped taking BCPs at the beginning of August and am pretty sure I haven't ovulated yet. No AF either and BFN on pregnancy tests. I am also trying to track temps and CM/CP. It will be so nice to have someone to chat with about TTC!

DH and I have almost been trying a year and this was our first Clomid cycle but I don't seem to have responded to it.

And Sarah sorry you haven't responded to Clomid- hopefully your baby is just around the corner!

Looks like weirdly I have not ovulated as not had a temp rise. Normally I ovulate around day 18/19/20. Never gone further than day 20. But now I am day 22... Hoping it happens today as my OH is away from tomorrow for a few days

I'm 27 myself too and also TTC for #1 this cycle! Had PCOS since 2013 n recently found 12 immature eggs on my right ovary. Not on Clomid but had 5 days Provera to induce my menses.

This cycle i'm using Preseed + Conceive Plus & on Folic Acid supplements. On and off of Metformin 500mg for PCOS.

Suppose to ovulate on 11th to 18th Oct as im having irregular menses.. using Clearblue Digital Ovulation Kit to help on that soon! Will be checking this 12th Oct for it!

I wanna tag along for this cycle with u guys too!!

Exciting you want to join me and others on our TTC journey!

Great you are using ovulation tests to help predict your important day. That will help if you have irregular cycles. Are you also temping? This really helped me as I found OPKs a bit confusing- so temping helped me see how many days before I would get a positive to when I actually ovulated. It is good to also confirm that ovulation occurred! For example this month, I got positive OPKs for a while but didn't ovulate but then did a few days later. So think I had build up to ovulation but didn't and then did finally a few days later!

So as you can see I finally ovulated this month! I am now 7dpo. Not many symptoms- expect sore boobs (but that happens every month) but I would say my cervix feels a bit fuller!

How is everyone elses month going?

Either I've started my pre-AF spotting or else it's AF herself so not doing too good here 😔

Oh sorry to here that AF might be on her way Aphy.. I just posted a list of fertility food that helped my friend get pregnant on the TTC forum- might be something to try this cycle?

As I said for me no symptoms that are really out of the ordinary... I am reallllllllllyyyy trying not to test until the day AF is due! Hoping I can wait it out!

Hi! I'm 23 and have been TTC since August and AF has come both months. I would love a buddy as well! AF just ended yesterday so now I am waiting to hopefully ovulate next week and then the waiting happens :/.

Hi everyone! I'm Joanna- I'm 30- TTC baby 1 too!
I had my iud taken after my wedding and this is our first cycle trying. I'm about dpo 3-4... I'd like to tell myself 4 for sanity's sake. I'm trying to hold out till dpo 10 to test. This is the longest two weeks of my life- and it's only been about 4 days since my positive opk!!! I'm definitely looking for friends to help keep me sane and distracted!

Welcome to the thread! Oh this two weeks is horrible right?! You feel like you are losing your mind. Luckily I am really busy at work this time round so not as bad as in the summer when I was doing nothing but just wishing two weeks to hurry up!

As for me, I am 8dpo and woke up this morning with super sore boobs (again not out of the ordinary for me as I get this most months-but I would say they are a bit sorer than normal) and a TEMP DIP! I am hoping this this is an implantation dip. My temps normally increase until 10dpo- never had a decrease now....

Me too! I've never had a dip at all in my luteal phase. Just had increasing temps until 10/11dpo and then i get a gradual temp decrease until 13/14dpo for AF. So this substantial dip (8dpo) now is just so weird- but not in a bad way hopefully! Although I only have 4 cycles charted...

I really want to wait until AF due day (16th) to test. But if my temp goes up tomorrow I might test 10dpo!!

No spotting at all whole day today. My temp did drop a little this morning though so probably still getting AF soon (can't help keeping a little spark of hope alive though)

Hey Aphy!

Keeping my fx that the spotting was not AF! It is so hard to try to remain positive but also be realistic and not get your hopes up. But at the same time you are not out until the witch shows up so think you should stay positive!

Hey ladies- how are you feeling?!?

I had a headache earlier in the day- not long, not intense but just there. I also just noticed the inner part of my boobs are tender. Now I mY not remember much about my periods before the mirena but I DO remember that my boobs were never sore 5 years ago... I may just be thinking about it too much and have convinced myself they are sore but I swear... my crazy self feels it!!
