I think AF might be showing up for me after about 62 days! I have had spotting for 3 days now. I haven't been reliably temping but I think I didn't ovulate this cycle. Here's to hoping next cycle is much shorter

I feel pretty normal today. I think I want to start temping in addition to opk for next month. You guys have a fav thermometer?

Amber, a word of advice, if you get another anovulatory long cycle please see a doctor. It's not normal to have long cycles like that and can indicate PCOS. I waited 8 months to see my doctor to find out I have PCOS and don't ovulate very frequently. I didn't ovulate on my first cycle of Clomid so I'm upping the dose next cycle. I feel like I've wasted a whole year. I wish I'd gone in sooner.

Thanks Sarah. I have heard that it takes a while for cycles to regulate once off BCPs so I thought I would wait and see what happens. I think I will make an appointment for next month though.

I've heard that too but I've also heard that the BCP is out of your system in a few days and that you shouldn't 'blame' irregular cycles on the pill. When I came off the pill my first few cycles were fairly short, but each cycle they got longer and longer. I would definitely recommend going to speak to your doctor if your next one is a similar length. Do you have any PCOS symptoms?

No PCOS symptoms that I have noticed. I do work night shift though and have for 6 years. I wonder if that is contributing to some hormone imbalances. I am going to be switching to day shift but that will take some time.

Amber, it's possible. Night shift obviously makes it difficult to temp though. You can have PCOS with no symptoms or just irregular cycles. Hopefully it is just the pill and you'll be back to regular, normal cycles soon.

Hi! I'm 25 and we are also TTC #1 right now. This is only our first cycle TTC, then we will have to take a break for 2 months+ while my husband goes away for work if it doesn't happen this cycle. We are not using OPKs or charting this month, but have DTD every day in my fertile window so the chances are somewhat decent. I usually have 24 day cycles with the odd 25 or 26 day cycle, and I'm fairly sure I ovulated yesterday on CD 12. I have been off hormonal BC since March and successfully avoided until now using the pull out method. So I'm 1dpo(ish) and officially in the TWW. Thanks for having me, fingers crossed for everyone!

Thanks Sarah! Night shift sure makes this process more difficult. But I am trying to be more relaxed about it...
I finally had a very light period for 3 days so am now on CD 6 I think. Just waiting to see if I ovulate this cycle!

Hey All!

Sorry I vanished for a bit! Work got really hectic. Anyway my AF arrive, for some reason at 9dpo. I never normally have it come that early.. so not sure what happened! Anyway had a few down days but on to this cycle- hoping for a July/August bubba now!

I finally got an OPK this week because my ovia app said I was in my fertile window and I wanted to narrow it down! Well my first three days of taking it a I got low so I got really down that I ovulate early and I missed my window well today I took it again and I got high! So maybe I didn't miss it and O later in my cycle. So feeling hopeful this much since I usually don't DH this late because we are tired and feeling like I already O. So fingers crossed that maybe this will be the one!

My period came on 12dpo. So now I'm on CD3!! Hopefully AF packs up and gets the heck out of here soon. I got my thermometer today and am eager just to get to trying again.

My husbands birthday is Nov 9 and I'm Nov 18 so a Nov BFP would be awesome....

And thejoie, exciting you got your thermometer! I remember I was so excited to see my temp shift- something so nice about knowing exactly when you Od. Also sounds like a great month to hopefully get your BFP with all these birthdays around- how long are you cycles normally?
