TTC #1 buddy?

Hi everyone. I am new to TTC, but not completely new to Bnb. I was in WTT for a few months. I'm 23 and OH is 31. We are taking a semi-relaxed approach to TTC right now (no temping or OPKs or anything) since it's my first month. I am on BnB quite a bit because I have a lot of free time at work (I know, sounds weird, but my work doesn't require much but "holding fort" with the occasional sale). I just started my first AF after coming off BCP. I'm looking for a buddy (or buddies?). I don't have many people in RL to talk to about it. OH is very nontechnical about things and still doesn't believe that getting PG requires more than DTD unprotected once...I guess it's from having 4 unplanned ("accidental") children (yes, he has 4 kids already). The only person that we have told about TTC is my mom and she got pregnant with #1 in the first month, got pregnant with #2 and #3 on the BCP, and got pregnant with #3 while using condoms...so she also doesn't think there's much to it. I will be the first of my friends and family (of my generation) to TTC so I feel a little alone here. I'm really just looking for someone (or someone's) to chat with on a regular basis about TTC. I know that's what the boards are for but I've been having a hard time with the chaos of jumping from topic to topic.
So...anyone game?

I totally understand! My OH and I are TTC #1 right now and I have nowhere to turn regarding womanly issues other than here. My mom wasn't trying to get pregnant with any of her children, and had an ovariohysterectomy after me, so I wasn't even raised watching my mom get monthly periods. I feel so alone sometimes!

Hi Bellaem I will be your TTC buddy my partner and i have just decided that we are going to start TTC for real now i am just waiting for AF to leave town and we are going to start i had a late cycle last cycle, 40 days between AF's, but i also only got my implanon removed on April 29 so im still waiting for my body to go back to its normal 28 day cycle im just glad that ive had 2 AF's since getting it removed so im feeling like my body will go back to normal pretty quick soooooo being my partner and i's first (im 27, my partner is 29) we are just starting to learn all the things that we need to start doing to help us fall so today ive looked into pregnancy vitamins and have decided that Swisse Pregnancy Ultivite look good for me and i havent heard any bad things about them so im going to get some tomorrow and start taking them

I'll be your buddy aswell, me & dh have been trying for 5 months now & i don't really have many people to talk to about this as my Mum told me i was a happy accident as they were NTNP & i just appeared. We haven't really told that many people that we're trying so it's nice to have all the girls on here to talk to.

Hey Bellaem! I'm TTC #1 too! I just came off BCP like two weeks ago. I'm 21 and hubby is 36. He has two boys already (from his previous marriage). And like your hubby, mine thinks that unprotected sex jus once will have me pregnant lol and my mom got pregnant with me on BCP so she has the same viewpoint. What BCP did you just come off of? Are you trying any methods - PreSeed? FertileCM? EPO? Temping? OPK? Message me any time girl! Good luck baby making!
