This journey is rough! I'm starting to lose faith. Currently on cycle 5. And I actually felt very positive about this cycle, and just "had this feeling this was THE cycle" :dohh:
Well AF is due tomorrow, and I started having a bit of spotting this afternoon. It's depressing. I mean what more can we do?!
I do not understand temping, and honestly will probably never try it. I've used opk's on cycles 2 & 3, and I think I'll go back to using them for cycle 6. Cycle 5 hubs and I both started taking supplements for infertility, and I think that's why my hopes got so high. We will continue to take them cycle 6. We've done SMEP cycle 4 & 5, I thought maybe for cycle 6, try doing 5 days in a row around my O. Hubs is good and does whatever I ask, like taking these supplements, but I'm so jealous of how relaxed his is!!! I felt sooo relaxed and confident this cycle! And now that I saw some pink I'm like, angry and so sad! I seriously want to cry!! It's just not fair!

I know the frustration! I'm pretty sure AF is going to arrive any minute now. We've been TTC for 10 "cycles" over the course of 17 months, 6 of those months with a specialist, but I've only ovulated once... the rest I had to have induced periods (hence why some lasted well over a month). That cycle of thinking "Oh, I just *know* this time it's going to end in a BFP!" and then being disappointed is SO difficult. DH doesn't really "get" it, and when I try to explain how stressful it is for me, it's impossible for him to understand because all he really has to do is BD! (He has been checked, and all is perfect there, of course). I know once that BFP arrives, it will all have been 100% worth it, but the journey can definitely be tougher than a lot of people think!

I never would have guessed it'd be so hard!! he definitely doesn't understand as much as I do, or feel the stress as much! hes got the easy job! I figure after 6 cycles, it should be time to get checked out. even though, I have been hearing a lot of people have had 7 cycles before a bfp! It just seems like its been forever! we were NTNP for over a year, and that scares me too!

I actually went off the pill 2 years ago to see how my body would respond before TTC, and after 6 months of absolutely nothing, a doctor told me I should wait at least a year(!) before being concerned, but I knew something was off. My RE then found that I have PCOS, so it definitely wasn't normal. But apparently a lot of doctors will say they'll only start treating you after a year of TTC. Just don't let them tell you that if you're concerned; good ones will listen to you and help you out!

I haven't been on birth control in like 5 years!!! So that's kind of scary! But my cycles are pretty regular! A year and a half ago, I went to a dr cuz I was having bad abdominal pain and they found a cyst on my right ovary. I had a few off periods, but the last year they have been pretty darn regular!!! .... No I haven't been back to check for cysts but I've had no pain and regular cycles! I feel like since my cycles are regular, I shouldn't have a problem?! I know it takes time, unfortunately, but I'm becoming too impatient!'
